They sometimes include lone spotters who are single cannibals that will observe your base from a distance and maybe will run away. They will always patrol these routes at certain times of the day. Cannibals have their own routes from varying clans. The way I interpretted the game’s AI (which is honestly not too bad) is that they’ll attack you the more you build and develop your base.
